What, too harsh? Companies are OK to adopt “innovate or die” as a mantra, which means you find new products and features or die in the mean streets of the marketplace. Your products are not the only things that need to change to keep up; so does your service. Listen to your customers, know what they need and expect  (yes, two different things!) and you’ll (at least) not die from service woes. Did Walmart listen before Amazon had a chance to run with ecommerce? Now it’s a game of catch-up. Don’t be caught trying to catch-up. Listen or die…
